Our Work

We evaluate climate change and energy policies, assess economic impacts, design and simulate auctions, and develop pricing systems for transport infrastructure. Our experts prepare reports on economic and finance issues in litigation and international arbitration proceedings.

Internship Opportunity

We are seeking talented individuals to join our Energy, Environment, Communication and Infrastructure practice in London. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real cases and projects, gaining invaluable experience in economic consulting. You will collaborate with internationally-recognised experts, learning more about the integral work that NERA performs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature and data research
  • Perform conceptual analysis applying the theoretical literature to the facts of a case
  • Manage and clean data
  • Analyse data and interpret results
  • Have active participation in drafting reports, memoranda, presentations and other work products

Requirements

  • Studying Economics, ideally in your penultimate year
  • Enjoy microeconomics and quantitative research
  • Comfortable working in Excel, Stata, R, Python or other quantitative software platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically and critically
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
