Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer Lead

About the Role
This Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer Lead position involves advising design teams on Electromagnetic Environment (EME) requirements and design considerations. The successful candidate will have experience of design for EMC compliance and knowledge of EMC Defence Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specifying and managing requirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system, platforms or programmes
- Liaising with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards
- Designing and implementing system mitigation to meet EMC standards
- Mentoring and coaching Engineers within the team
Requirements and Qualifications:
- BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification
- Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this
- Experience of design for EMC compliance
- Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage
- Proven experience and ability to coach others in a team
