Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EMC Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMC testing and a proven track record of implementing system mitigation strategies to meet required standards.
">As an EMC Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include conducting tests to demonstrate system compliance with EMC standards, collaborating with other engineers on the team, and implementing system mitigation strategies to ensure compliance. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to project leaders and principal engineers, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve contractual compliance for EMC design.
">To succeed in this role, you will need to have a HNC or equivalent experience in engineering, as well as experience of EMC testing and good knowledge of IT, skills and MS Office. Proven experience with technical reporting is essential, and knowledge of EMC defence standards would be an advantage.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £65,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave incentive, and access to flexible working arrangements.
