About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Analysis Manager to join our team at VINCI Building. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our bids and proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective bid strategies to secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead the development of high-quality bids and proposals, ensuring they meet the client's requirements and showcase our company's expertise.
  • Manage the bid process, including coordination with internal teams and stakeholders, to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate and agree bid strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and incorporate project strategies to achieve the company's sustainability objectives.
  • Coordinate resources with technical and support departments to complete bids and secure projects.
  • Manage the full process, including relationship building with clients, achieving preferred bidder status, and bringing projects to contract close.
  • Understand and challenge technical documents relating to design, build, legal, and financial aspects to maximise opportunities.
  • Deliver the bid strategy, including solution development, writing bid text, costing, and cost model review.
  • Manage negotiations and commercial discussions through all stages of the process to commercial close.
Requirements
  • Proven bid management skills, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • A technical understanding of complex construction schemes.
  • Experience of delivering outstanding customer and stakeholder service and management.
  • A construction-related degree.
  • CIOB membership or equivalent.
  • Experience in writing/managing bids.
  • Experience of working on bids in a variety of construction sectors.
