We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registration Manager to lead our Registration Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the registration process, ensuring high standards of customer service, and promoting a positive culture within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the registration process, including managing the marriage ceremony rota and allocating interviews to members of the public.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a capable, skilled, and knowledgeable Registration Service team.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered and a positive culture is encouraged within the team.
- Implement new ways of working, develop the customer journey, and ensure compliance with legislation and service change requirements.
- Prepare the annual report for the General Register Office and be responsible for the safe keeping of deposited registers for the district.
- Attend meetings with the Medical Examiner, Registration staff from other areas, and the Coroner to represent the Registration Service.
- Education to degree level or equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience of working as a Deputy Superintendent Registrar or Superintendent Registrar over the full range of duties.
- Experience of managing a team, promoting excellent customer service, and a positive culture.
- Good working knowledge of the wider statutory requirements and experience of IT and using standard MS Office programmes.
- Knowledge of the Registration Service software RON.
