About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We're seeking a Land Surveyor in the Chipping Warden Area to support the Senior Land Surveyor in establishing and maintaining the site survey control network to report and validate different construction stages.
You will be responsible for undertaking land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, using specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners, and analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software like AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and GIS programs.
We'll require you to prepare survey drawings with the Senior Land Surveyor, present data to clients, and write reports.
You'll coordinate with Site Engineers for project implementation, changes in plans, or deviations, unusual activities, or non-conformances rectification work and coordinate with consultants for inspection and approval.
Setting out and as-built surveys, topographical and engineering surveys (Laser Scanner), managing Point Cloud Data registration and post-processing, GNSS network surveying, precise traversing, and precise levelling for breakdown from primary survey control, and managing drone surveys for earthwork measures are key aspects of this role.
