We are currently seeking an experienced Strategic Programme Director to lead multiple high-impact projects across various domains, primarily focusing on business transformations and operational enhancements. This role demands a strategic visionary who is adept at cultivating relationships with senior stakeholders and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Leadership: Spearhead multiple workstreams overseeing the successful delivery of projects spanning business process improvements, target operating model development, and business readiness initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop a comprehensive programme strategy that aligns with the organisation's broader goals, ensuring that all deliverables are impactful and future-proof.
  • Change Management: Drive business transformation through effective change management strategies, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and that the organisation is set up for long-term success.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage programme risks, ensuring that risks are mitigated and projects stay on track.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain governance frameworks for programme delivery, ensuring that reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with the needs of senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, ensuring that communication is clear, regular, and aligned with programme objectives.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that the appropriate resources are in place to support the successful delivery of each workstream, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and subject matter experts as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to continuously improve programme delivery, utilising best practices, lessons learned, and feedback to optimise processes and outcomes.

  • Excellent understanding of change management principles and experience in delivering business transformation programmes.
  • Solid governance and reporting skills with experience setting up governance frameworks for complex programmes.
  • Strong risk management experience with the ability to identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Experience in IT project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Familiarity with governance and reporting frameworks tailored to large-scale programmes.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and management practices that align with organisational standards and policies.
