Primary Teacher for ASC Support

We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team at Clay Hill School, where you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated needs.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students. As a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment, adapting curriculum content, and implementing individualized strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction that meets the needs of students with ASC and associated needs, fostering engagement and promoting independence.
- Assess pupils' progress and needs regularly, using data to inform planning and set achievable goals. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide tailored support to pupils, implementing strategies for social, emotional, and behavioral development. Encourage positive interactions and foster an inclusive classroom culture.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education and well-being.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices in supporting pupils with ASC and associated needs. Share knowledge and strategies with colleagues.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with students with ASC and associated needs, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and tailored teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- An estimated salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
