Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Projects Officer to join our team at Leeds Bread Co-op.

This is a hybrid role with opportunities for home and office working, as well as site visits. The successful candidate will support the delivery of commercial projects across our climate, energy, and greenspaces service.

The estimated salary for this position is £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on market rates in the UK.

About You:

  • You should have experience in managing contracts and commercial projects effectively.
  • You should be able to demonstrate innovative thinking and analytical skills to resolve problems.
  • You should have experience in supporting project work programmes and working under pressure to meet targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, manage, and report contractor performance on specified contracts.
  • Liaise with other council services and obtain relevant information to ensure effective contract usage.
  • Identify and support the maximisation of financial return to the council relating to specified contracts.
