Job Overview

The Senior Clinical Lead for CAMHS will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of interventions within the Thrive Model, as indicated by SET CAMHS and NICE guidance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to support the delivery of psychological support across the service.
  • Be responsible for assessment, treatment, and outcome measurement.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and contribute to their development.
  • Collaborate with the wider systems, including education, social care, and family/carers, to support young people with complex mental health needs.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate training in psychological practice (psychologist or family therapist).
  • Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, ACP, AFT, NMC).
  • Extensive experience of working with complex mental health presentations in children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions.
  • Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people in crisis with complex mental health problems.
