We are seeking a Mission and Ministry Development Manager to join our team at Spire. As a key member of our programme management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of programmes aligned with diocesan and national church outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the ability to drive strategic growth, develop effective governance frameworks, and manage programmes from inception to delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic framework to enhance Christian mission and ministry in the diocese.
  • Facilitating the effective functioning of a governance framework for programmes.
  • Day-to-day management of programmes, including monitoring progress, coordinating implementation, and resource procurement.
  • Collaborating with senior colleagues to develop and deliver engagement plans that achieve local ownership.
  • Supporting the completion of successful funding applications to support programmes.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,437 pa, 25 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and 3 days of fixed annual leave at Christmas, a Healthcare Cash Plan (after six months), and a contributory pension scheme.

This is a full-time role with options available around flexible and hybrid working. The office base at Easton is in an attractive location benefiting from free parking with easy access to the A47, just 5 minutes from the Longwater retail park.
