Role Overview:
As a Senior Accountant at Rebus Recruitment, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, preparing management accounts, and providing insightful financial analysis to drive business decisions.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with AAT Level 4 or higher qualifications. You will also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly sales, stock, and vendor reporting.
- Preparation of management accounts for two Group companies, including the management information pack.
- Period-end balance sheet reconciliations.
- P&L variance analysis and investigations.
- TAX/VAT returns.
- Maintaining and improving Financial Controls within the business.
- Assisting with stock management processes and warehouse personnel.
- Development of reporting of KPIs.
- Working with business managers to deliver outstanding service to customers.
- Cashbook posting and Bank reconciliation (as required).
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- AAT Level 4 or higher qualifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a commercial environment, preferably with Purchase & Sales Order Processing and Cashbook management.
Salary and Benefits:
