Job Title: Clinical Scientist in Audiology

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist in Audiology to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Scientist in Audiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality audiological services to children and their families.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have significant post-degree experience in Audiology, with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology. You will be responsible for providing diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting for babies and children of all ages. You will also contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate and patient-centred care, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with children and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the audiology team, supporting a positive team culture. Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the professional development of the team.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high-quality audiological services by adhering to standards and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered with the HCPC or AHCS.
  • Significant post-degree experience in Audiology, with a specialist interest in Paediatric Audiology.
