Role Overview

This position involves working as a Nursery Practitioner within the SEN hub, which caters to up to 12 children with various additional needs. You will be required to work 5 days a week, with hours between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, term-time only.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Supporting children with severe and profound complex learning difficulties.
  • Collaborating with the team to create an engaging and inclusive environment.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to address individual children's needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents and carers regarding their child's progress.
Essential Requirements

To be suitable for this position, you must possess:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years.
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and its implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of child development and behaviour.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is £26,500-£31,400, commensurate with your experience.
