Childcare and SEN Support Specialist

This position involves working as a Nursery Practitioner within the SEN hub, which caters to up to 12 children with various additional needs. You will be required to work 5 days a week, with hours between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, term-time only.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary duties will include:
- Supporting children with severe and profound complex learning difficulties.
- Collaborating with the team to create an engaging and inclusive environment.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to address individual children's needs.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating with parents and carers regarding their child's progress.
To be suitable for this position, you must possess:
- A recognised Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Childcare/Early Years.
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years old.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and its implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of child development and behaviour.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £26,500-£31,400, commensurate with your experience.
