Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Worker to join our team at East Sussex County Council. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young people in our community.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 years for young people with SEN) in our Youth Hubs across East Sussex. You will be responsible for designing and delivering activities that promote social and life skills, as well as supporting the Leader in Charge in the operation and running of the sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver activities that promote social and life skills for young people
  • Support the Leader in Charge in the operation and running of the sessions
  • Engage young people in the community and offer support, advice, and guidance
  • Handle any safeguarding concerns as a team
