We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our 0-19 public health team in Woking. As a District Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering the Healthy Child Programme, working closely with children, young people, and families to promote health and wellbeing in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver universal core services and targeted interventions to address health inequalities
- Participate in safeguarding responsibilities, including child protection conferences and core groups
- Mentor junior members and pre-registration student nurses
- Assist in research and service audits
- Supervise and support colleagues to ensure high-quality care
- Registered Nurse with child branch qualification
- Mentorship qualification
- Experience of working with children, young people, and families
- Completion of safeguarding modules
- Immunisation training and/or experience
