We are seeking a skilled Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team at MW Appointments, a leading insurance brokerage with a strong presence in the UK and global markets. Our client is looking for a Broker / Account Handler to join the growing UK retail division, specializing in niche personal lines products and providing exceptional customer service to existing clients.

  • Interact with insurers to handle client policies and negotiate optimal coverage
  • Identify additional products and services for clients to enhance their insurance portfolios
  • Maintain organized and secure client files, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Operate within underwriting authorities, ensuring compliance with industry standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of insurance experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including insurance software and databases
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations and industry best practices
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with the team

Key Details

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 based on experience, with opportunities for growth and professional development
