Cloud Operations Developer

As a Cloud Operations Developer, you will be part of the Research and Development function, working closely with the global Cloud DevOps team to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, testing, and deploying software that drives our cloud infrastructure and services
  • Assisting in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with a focus on cloud environment (e.g. Azure and AWS)
  • Working with DevOps tools to manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and application performance
  • Participating in Scrum meetings with other team members, including sprint planning and estimating, daily Scrum meetings, and retrospectives

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant experience as a software developer in a commercial cloud development environment
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Strong coding skills in multiple languages, including C#
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes in Azure DevOps
  • Able to take direction and seek help from senior colleagues
  • Experience of using Agile methodologies
