Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Research and Development function.

As part of our global Cloud DevOps team, you'll combine software development and cloud operations to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions.

You'll work closely with our team to ensure successful implementation, track and report progress, and resolve or escalate release issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Continually develop and improve DevOps processes, adding value through optimisation, automation, and effective reporting.
  • Oversee relevant Cloud deployments to ensure successful implementation, track and report progress, resolve or escalate release issues.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance to security practices and policies.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on cloud development.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Go, or Java.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of operational support, software development, and deployment methodologies and principles.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell or Node JS scripting.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage solutions.
  • Excellent analysis and dissemination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
