Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Research and Development function, specifically the global Cloud DevOps team.

This team combines software development and cloud operations to provide continuous integration and delivery of cloud-enabled products and solutions, along with continuous monitoring to ensure customer requirements and SLAs are met.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in software development, with a focus on cloud development, and expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continually developing and improving DevOps processes, adding value through optimisation, automation, and effective reporting.
  • Overseeing relevant Cloud deployments to ensure successful implementation, track and report progress, resolve or escalate release issues.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance to security practices and policies.

We're looking for a collaborative and analytical individual with strong programming skills, a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and experience working in Agile software development.
