About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Production Manager to join our team at Warner Music Group. As a key member of our Creative Production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our music products, from physical and digital formats to innovative marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and coordinate the development of physical and digital formats for key artists across our labels, including boxsets, vinyl records, CD/DVD/Blu-Ray, and digital releases.
  • Research and analyze sales history and competitor analysis to inform product decisions, working closely with designers, artist management, and commercial teams.
  • Project manage high-profile campaigns, coordinating the development of complex products from inception to delivery, ensuring the highest level of quality control across print and production processes.
  • Define and communicate critical paths for key releases across multiple formats, ensuring timely delivery and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Circulate regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing and resolving physical or digital format issues and concerns.
  • Work closely with Digital Operations and PDM to coordinate the origination and ingest of digital formats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and future developments.
  • Quality control of digital audio files to validate integrity, including 16bit/24bit HD WAVs and various sample rates.
  • Obtain product costs across all releases, working closely with Finance, Commercial, and Marketing to ensure packaging specs meet agreed guidelines.
  • Ensure confidential and secure releases follow relevant procedures, coordinating global security plans and best practices, and liaising with international affiliates and advisory bodies as necessary.
  • Securely distribute pre-release music to internal and external contacts worldwide, while preventing leaks.
  • Contribute to the development and new features of our promo system and iOS/Android apps.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient individual with excellent project management skills, a keen eye for design and detail, and experience in vinyl production. You should have a strong understanding of digital files and music technology, with experience using a wide variety of IT systems on a day-to-day basis.

You will be a collaborative team player, able to form good relationships with colleagues and external partners, and be proactive and forward-thinking. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role within a record label or similar environment, for a minimum of 3 years.
