Creative Industries Production Technician Apprenticeship

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Creative Industries Production Technician Apprenticeship. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for supporting the construction, rehearsal, and presentation of live performances in our iconic venues.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of technical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure seamless execution of live performances.
- Operate and maintain technical equipment, including lighting, audio, and video systems.
- Participate in risk assessments and adapt working practices to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Disassemble and store technical equipment safely and efficiently at the end of events.
We are looking for a candidate who is:

- Professionally inclined, with a positive attitude to learning and work.
- Strong in attention to detail, including planning and evaluating tasks.
- Enthusiastic about live entertainment and working in the technical theatre industry.
No prior experience in theatre is necessary, but a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is desirable. If you do not hold these qualifications, you will be supported to achieve them during the apprenticeship.
Training and DevelopmentYou will be enrolled in the Creative Industries Production Technician – Creative Venue Technician Pathway Level 3 Standard. This apprenticeship will provide you with the skills and knowledge to become a multi-skilled technician in the live entertainment industry.
