Senior Legal Counsel, Employment

Heriot Brown is partnering with a well-known TMT business to launch their UK Employment Legal function. As Senior Employment Lawyer, you will work closely with the business on all aspects of Employment law.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic legal advice to HR and the business, reviewing policies and ensuring compliance with new legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the resolution of employment disputes and settlement agreements, and act as a liaison with external legal counsel during proceedings.
- Provide expertise in works council matters and handle complex employment issues, including restructures, TUPE, and outsourcing agreements.
- Draft, negotiate, and review employment-related contracts and broader commercial agreements.
- Minimise legal risks for the company and assist with implementing necessary legal amendments in policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 5+ PQE, gained from either private practice or working in-house
- UK Employment Law experience
