About the Role

The primary function of a Commercial Gas Engineer is to ensure that all equipment and appliances within council properties meet safety standards by conducting thorough testing and risk assessments. Key responsibilities include installing, commissioning, repairing, or replacing gas appliances and pipework systems.

As part of this role, you will interact directly with customers on a day-to-day basis, providing exceptional service and support.

Key Requirements:

  • COCN 1 - Commercial core safety certification
  • CIGA 1 - Indirect fired appliances qualification
  • CORT 1 - Radiant Tubes expertise
  • ICPN 1 - Commercial pipework knowledge
  • TPCP 1 - Testing and Purging under 1m certification
  • TPCP 1A - Testing and Purging over 1m qualification
