About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our repairs and maintenance division in Coatbridge.
The primary role of a Commercial Gas Engineer will be to ensure that all equipment and appliances within our council properties function safely and meet all relevant standards.
This involves testing, installing, commissioning, repairing, or replacing pipework systems, gas appliances, pumps, pipe work, tanks, and motorized valves.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be qualified to City and Guilds/SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standard, hold appropriate Commercial ACS certification, and have good understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body regulations.
You should also have previous commercial gas experience and hold a full UK driving license.
