Salary
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in driving project delivery forwards.

Job Description
As a Design Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions on time and on budget. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Planner, and Quantity Surveyor to drive project delivery forward, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A deep understanding of project management and engineering design management best practices.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Strong contract management skills and an understanding of the NEC forms of contract.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and conflicting deadlines.
  • Able to work autonomously and/or as part of a project team.
  • Pro-active in building knowledge and understanding of the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
  • A strong understanding of CDM regulations and how to apply these throughout the design process.
