We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in Coatbridge. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our council properties.
About the RoleThe primary responsibility of this position is to test all equipment and appliances within our properties to guarantee they meet safety standards and identify potential risks. You will also be required to install, commission, and repair pipework systems and gas appliances, as well as other plant machinery such as pumps, tanks, and motorized valves.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular testing and inspections of equipment and appliances to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Install and commission new pipework systems and gas appliances, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Repair or replace faulty plant machinery, including pumps, tanks, and motorized valves.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Hold a City and Guilds/ SVQ Level 3 Gas Service Engineer standard qualification.
- Possess appropriate Commercial ACS certification.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current legislation, building control requirements, and governing body regulations.
- Bring a minimum of [estimated salary: £41,222] per annum, reflecting your experience and expertise in commercial gas engineering.
- Hold a full UK driving license.
