Job Title: Senior Social Care Professional
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Care Professional to join our Children in Care team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children in care, their families, and carers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience in handling complex cases and mentoring less experienced social workers. You will also have previous experience within Children in Care and possess Enhanced DBS Clearance.
In this role, you will work closely with our Consultant Practitioners and Team Managers to provide coaching and training to social workers. You will also be responsible for building meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and carers to ensure effective planning for the future of every child.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality support to children in care, their families, and carers
- Work closely with Consultant Practitioners and Team Managers to provide coaching and training to social workers
- Build meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and carers to ensure effective planning for the future of every child
- Mentor less experienced social workers and provide guidance on complex cases
- Social Work England Registration (formerly known as HCPC)
- Previous experience of handling complex cases
- Previous experience of mentoring less experienced social workers
- Previous experience within Children in Care
- Enhanced DBS Clearance - or happy for us to undertake this for you prior to joining us
