We are Reed-UNLIMITED, a leading provider of advocacy services in the UK. Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to empowering individuals to express their needs and preferences.

We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Advocate to join our team in Medway. As an Advocate, you will work closely with individuals to support them through the NHS complaints procedure.

This is a full-time role that involves working independently, but also as part of a team. You will be based in Medway Hospital for up to one day per week and will be required to travel across the area. A car or reliable public transport is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide independent advocacy support to individuals in line with relevant legislation and regulations
  • To identify risks in delivering the service and ensure compliance with risk management procedures
  • To promote the rights, equality, diversity, and needs of all individuals
  • To ensure accurate recording and reporting of all data

Requirements:

  • Independent Advocacy Qualification L4 or willingness to work towards
  • Relevant experience delivering advocacy
  • Able to work from home remotely and manage your own schedule
  • Commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • An understanding of the purpose and principles of Independent Advocacy

Salary and Benefits:

  • £26,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 28 days' annual leave + Bank Holidays
