Making a Difference in Mental Health Research

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Mental Health Research Advocate. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making sure that everyone has the chance to influence local research studies.

As a Mental Health Research Advocate, you will be responsible for gathering information and stories from local communities through various listening approaches. You will then feed this back to our research team, including researchers, to help shape future mental health research studies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to learn new skills and make a real difference in people's lives. If you have valuable life lessons gained through personal or professional experience of mental ill health, we want to hear from you

About the Role
  • Gathering information and stories from local communities
  • Feeding this back to our research team
  • Attending shared learning sessions and community discussions

Requirements
  • Degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
