Security Officer

Logistics People is recruiting SIA licensed security officers to work with our client, Logistics Security, in their warehouse and distribution depots.
About the RoleAs a security officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's depots, providing high-quality guarding and excellent customer service to both clients and service users.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular and randomised searches on staff and visitors
- Log goods vehicles entering or leaving the site accurately
- Maintain liaison with site contacts, colleagues, and CCTV controllers
- Support the reduction of accidents and H&S breaches
- Monitor and operate equipment, including phones, intercoms, and radios
- Assist in site evacuations and maintain data protection standards
- Previous experience in the security industry (1 year)
- SIA Licence (SG/DS) required
- UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle required
- Flexibility to work a mixture of shifts, including some at short notice
- Computer/PC literate
