Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling a range of wood finishing & protection products to the trade, with a focus on joiners, builders, contractors, woodworks, furniture manufacturers, flooring manufacture, wood cladding manufacturers, stockists, distributors, architects, and interior designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Selling wood finishing & protection products to the trade
  2. Building relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  3. Managing a territory to achieve sales targets
  4. Providing excellent customer service and support
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

  1. Field sales experience in the construction industry
  2. Ideal background in wood/joinery, but not essential
  3. Consideration for a joiner looking to step up into field sales
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  6. IT literate and able to use CRM software
