Job Summary">

We are seeking a skilled Care and Support Worker to join our Home Care Team in Mendip and surrounding areas. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers and enjoy a rewarding career with competitive pay and benefits.


Key Responsibilities">
  • Accompanying customers to appointments, shopping, and preparing meals
  • Providing companionship and making someone's day that little bit easier
  • Understanding the care plan in place to support our customers
  • Keeping clear and accurate records of the care and support provided at each visit
  • Ensuring our customers have eaten and are drinking enough to remain as healthy as possible
  • Working with the team around you to raise any concerns regarding our customers

Requirements">
  • A full valid driving licence and your own vehicle
  • Knowledge of the Mendip area and able to commute to Mendip from your home location
  • Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are not able to offer sponsorship)
  • Available to work 7-2 and/or 4-10 across Monday to Sunday on a two-week rolling rota
  • Available to work alternate weekends

Salary and Benefits">

The hourly rate for this role is £12.16 per hour, which includes a 30p travel enhancement. You will also receive enhanced pay for nights, weekends, and bank holidays. In addition, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:
