Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our team at CHC Helicopters. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be part of our strong professional maintenance team, responsible for delivering our multi-type fleet of helicopters to the flight line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the required authorizations for aircraft and aircraft components are maintained in their area.
  • Oversee the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision.
  • Accurately compile documentation and certify maintenance carried out within their scope of authority.
  • Ensure all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
  • Stay current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and relevant technical data provisions.
  • Control all tools used during maintenance.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policy within their area.
  • Familiarize themselves with the Company IT systems, including AMOS (training will be provided as required).

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • A UKCAA Part 66 Licence, preferably with a S92 and/or H175 Type Rating.
  • Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
  • Computer literacy, with experience of AMOS MRO software preferred but not essential.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels.
  • The ability to work within a team, including tasks outside their trade discipline.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Pass a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass.

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Candidates will also be required to pass Psychometric evaluations and be able to pass a UK security background check required to obtain an airport security pass.
