Job Summary

The B1.3 Engineer is a key member of the NHV GROUP team responsible for the maintenance of helicopters. This role involves working in a team of engineers and reporting to the Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Perform line and base maintenance tasks on helicopters, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement variable and flexible work planning and work rosters to support business continuity.
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the required time scales to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct daily problem analysis and problem-solving, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly.
  • Provide briefing and debriefing to pilots and the Chief Engineer, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Ensure that pre-flight checks are performed and that all necessary maintenance materials and spare parts are available on site.
  • Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Chief Engineer, ensuring that all issues are communicated effectively.
Requirements
  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferred
  • Engineering experience in different aviation companies is a plus
Skills
  • ICT literate (specific aviation software and MS Office)
  • Proficient in English (professional level)
  • Knowledge of company procedures and processes
  • Good communication skills, including debriefing to pilots and flight crew
  • Able to work independently and take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within time scales
  • Logical thinking
