About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Knowles Associates. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payment from clients and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage incoming invoices, resolving any discrepancies in a prompt manner.
  • Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payments and negotiate settlements where necessary.
  • Work closely with suppliers to provide updates on outstanding invoices and ensure efficient payment processing.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to achieve targets and optimize credit control processes.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,082.63-£26,872.96 per annum, plus benefits including a company pension scheme, free flu jabs, and free parking.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in credit control.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
