Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control Specialist to join our team at Whitehall Resources. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take their career to the next level in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring debt recovery and process efficiencies, with a focus on credit control across three Whitehall entities. This includes daily checking of bank receipts, producing daily cash reports, and allocating receipts into the finance package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform credit control tasks across multiple entities, with a focus on timely communication with clients.
  • Produce weekly debtor reports to include reasoning for overdue payments and updates on movements to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Run unallocated cash reports weekly to match invoices and credits to keep the ledger tidy.
  • Liaise with clients professionally to resolve invoice issues that may delay payment.
  • Manage the Invoicing and Credit Control inbox, replying to queries in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile client self-bill invoices when generated and resolve any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a credit control role is essential, with knowledge and insight into credit control procedures.
  • Able to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
