About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Big Yellow Group plc. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of store operations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a warm and welcoming experience in-store and through various communication channels.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Maximize sales opportunities by promoting our products and services, and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Store Operations: Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, health and safety, and overall store appearance, ensuring a safe and productive working environment for colleagues and customers.
  • Team Management: Coach, develop, and support your sales advisors to achieve their full potential, and work closely with your store manager to drive business growth and development.

  • Management Experience: Proven management experience, with a lead-by-example attitude and a track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues, and communicate effectively at all levels.
