Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer with .Net expertise to join our Control IT team in London. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and functional testers to automate regression test scenarios for front-end and back-end testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application functionality and technical aspects.
  • Work with relevant teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of new tests.
  • Maintain and enhance the test automation environment and functional tests.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be a self-starter.
  • Apply various techniques, tools, and approaches based on situational context.
  • Deliver exploratory testing to resolve issues and meet new requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvements to Test Coverage and performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in automation testing.
  • Comfortable with technical discussions and complex systems.
  • BDD and Specflow experience.
  • .Net and TestNG test automation experience.
  • C# programming skills.
  • Page object model-based frameworks experience.
  • CI job management and implementation experience.
  • Test automation framework experience, particularly open source.
  • API Testing experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server or Oracle).
  • Playwright experience.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive package, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional growth.
