About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing excellent support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the exterior of the site, including general external maintenance tasks.
  • Assist the facilities team with contractor management, ensuring contractors are signed in and out correctly and adhering to site policies and rules.
  • Responsible for opening and/or closing the building as required.
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strive for excellence and take initiative to make decisions that benefit our customers.
  • Able to work under pressure and demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
