We're looking for a skilled Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of operations at Chartwells. As a member of the facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of facility management, ensuring the exterior of the site is clean and tidy, and assisting with contractor management.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be able to adapt to changing priorities. You'll have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships, and strive for excellence in your work.

Our facilities team is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of operations in our Chartwells venues. As a Facilities Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining a high standard of facility management and ensuring the exterior of the site is clean and tidy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair
  • Assisting the facilities team with contractor management
  • Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
