About Chartwells - Independent

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional support to our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining the exterior of the site, including general external maintenance tasks.
  • Assist the facilities team with contractor management, ensuring contractors are signed in and out correctly and adhering to site policies and rules.
  • Open and/or close the building as required.
  • Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Adaptability and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strive for excellence and demonstrate a motivated and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions that benefit our customers.
  • Exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
