Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Job Description:
As a member of the Product Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and enhancing the capability of team members. You will also take responsibility for special process domains, including process confirmation activities, representing BAE Systems at internal forums and collaborating with other SMEs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for establishing, maintaining and executing one or more special process domains
- Represent BAE Systems at internal special process forums
- Collaborate with other SMEs internally and externally to achieve set goals
- Understand methods of identifying, measuring and assuring software at the supplier
- Drive business to zero defects and Cost of Non-Quality initiatives
- Ensure high quality records are produced as an output of production processes and inspections
Your Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- HND/equivalent qualification or experience within Engineering/Manufacturing
- Understanding of ISO 9001/AQAP 2210
- A good working knowledge of Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/ First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR)
- Previous experience leading and managing others
- Previous experience in a Supplier Assurance Quality Software role
