About the Role

This position involves leading a team of engineers to ensure the design intent is met in the final product.

As Principal Engineer – Nuclear (Mechanical), you will be coordinating and leading the resolution of diverse issues that arise during the build and test of the reactor plant.

You will develop technical solutions to problems, ensuring the associated safety case is adequate, and provide advice to various internal teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with build organisation to ensure as-built product reflects design intent.
  2. Understand key requirements and critical dimensions for major structural components.
  3. Lead on design changes affecting major structural components.
  4. Support or act as engineering member of test and authorisation groups.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
