About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Sussex Cancer Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Lung Cancer, Skin Cancers, and Oncotoxicity (including immunotherapy toxicity).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients with Lung Cancer, Skin Cancers, and Oncotoxicity (including immunotherapy toxicity)
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive oncology services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of medical students, junior medical staff, and AHP/nurses
  • Engage in clinical research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
