Job Description

As a Central Relationship Manager at Allica Bank, you will play a critical role in nurturing a portfolio of SME clients, providing them with secured lending, current accounts, and deposit facilities. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with business owners, understanding their plans and ambitions, and identifying opportunities to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on banking solutions.
  • Credit Risk Management: Proactively manage credit risk across your portfolio, using data insights to identify early warning indicators and support further advances where required.
  • Business Development: Originate new lending opportunities from initial enquiry to completion, assessing and proposing credit papers in line with Allica Bank's credit policies and appetite.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a small team of relationship managers, providing coaching and support to ensure high levels of service and customer outcomes.
  • Communication and Tracking: Communicate and track key objectives within your portfolio and team, ensuring seamless and professional service delivery.

  • Passion for SME Banking: A deep passion for supporting and helping SMEs to grow and achieve their ambitions.
  • Relationship Building: A highly capable relationship builder, with a history of delivering support for SMEs through the provision of financing, deposit facilities, and banking services.
  • Credit Skills: Strong credit skills, including the ability to build a deep understanding of a business's plans, analyze their financial accounts, and propose a suitable structure that helps them achieve their goals while mitigating identified risks.
  • SME Banking Knowledge: A well-founded knowledge of commercial lending and securities, with the ability to deliver against challenging personal goals while supporting a team to do the same.
