About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist at our Orion Business Park location in Stockport. As the first point of contact for our visitors, you will be responsible for managing the reception area, meeting rooms, and academy zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and take ownership of the reception area, providing exceptional customer service to all visitors.
- Welcome and register all visitors, ensuring they sign/clock in.
- Manage deliveries, including couriers and post, and handle daily incoming and outgoing mail.
- Answer all incoming questions and requests via phone, email, or at reception.
- Support the social group with event planning and hosting, and manage meeting rooms for internal and external events.
- Maintain and monitor useful consumables and stationery, and ensure all social areas are kept up to standard.
- Support visitors with local area knowledge, hotels, restaurants, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role.
- Facilities management experience is desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication and active listening skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and willing to learn in-house systems and processes.
