We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Autism Support Worker to join our team in the Worksop area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist day service, providing support to individuals with autism.

About the Role

As an Autism Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are followed to provide the appropriate level of support to our service users. You will promote engagement through scheduled activities, prepare meals and snacks, and oversee the health and safety of those under your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Promote independence and encourage participation in daily activities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Monitor and report any changes in service user well-being
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 months' experience working with autistic individuals in a supported-living or day service setting
  • Enhanced DBS certificate covering Adults and Children
  • Valid training certificates dated within the past 12 months or willingness to undergo training
  • Two professional care-related references
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour (increasing to £12.08 after 13 weeks), plus various benefits including paid training and certification opportunities.
