Autism Support Specialist

About the Role:
This role involves working as a Day Service Care Worker in a specialist Autism support day service based in Worksop, providing support to service users under your care. You will be responsible for ensuring that all care plans are followed and that service users receive the level of support appropriate to them.
As a key member of our team, you will promote the service users to take part in scheduled activities to keep them engaged throughout their time at the service. This may include walks within the local community, bowling, listening to music, arts and crafts etc.
Responsibilities will also include preparing lunches, drinks and snacks for the service users, overseeing their health and safety, and undertaking some basic cleaning duties where necessary.
The pay rate for this role is £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.08 after 13 weeks. To apply, you must have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working with Autistic service users within a formal supported-living service or day service.
