Support Worker for Autism Day Service in Worksop

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team at a specialist autism day service based in Worksop. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with their daily lives, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.
Job Description- You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that service users receive the highest level of support and care.
- Under the guidance of the supervisor, you will assist service users with various activities, such as daily living skills, education, and leisure activities, promoting their autonomy and self-esteem.
- You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and reporting any concerns or incidents promptly.
- In collaboration with colleagues, you will participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with best practices in autism support.
- A minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working with autistic individuals within a supported-living service or day service.
- Holding an enhanced DBS certificate covering Adults and Children is mandatory. If not held, Quality Service Recruitment can facilitate the process.
- Mandatory training certificates dated within the past 12 months or the facility to pay for the required training.
- Two care-related references from professional settings.
